Rai Preps Kids’ Miniseries on Sexual Harassment

Italian pubcaster Rai is producing Jams, a drama miniseries on sexual harassment, for its children’s channel Rai Gulp.

Jams is about an 11-year-old girl named Joy, who is molested by a neighbor. The 10×30-minute program is meant to help young viewers between the ages of 9 and 13 understand the risks of sexual harassment, detect when something is wrong, overcome shame and loneliness, and ask for help.

Jams is being co-produced by Luca Milano’s Rai Ragazzi and Simona Ercolani’s Stand-by-me. It is currently in post-production, with a release set for January 2019.
