Q Pootle 5 Secures Home-Entertainment Partner

LONDON: Snapper Productions has inked a deal with Abbey Home Media for the U.K. home-entertainment rights to the animated preschool show Q Pootle 5.

Under the agreement, Abbey Home Media will launch its first Q Pootle 5 DVD, titled Pootle The Explorer, on April 11. The DVD will include seven episodes from the series, which broadcasts on CBeebies in the U.K. Q Pootle 5 follows the adventures of a small alien and his friends as they confront everyday problems in space. The show is based on the books by Nick Butterworth. It is produced by Snapper Productions, animated by Blue Zoo and distributed internationally by ZDF Enterprises.

With their vast experience of the children’s market they are an ideal partner for us.”
