Proud Family Creator Bruce W. Smith on Board TV Kids Summer Festival

Multiple award-winning animation artist Bruce W. Smith, creator and executive producer of Disney+’s The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, has joined the lineup of the TV Kids Summer Festival, slated for June 7 to 10.

An accomplished director, producer and animator, Smith has been part of the animation industry for over three decades. He is best known for creating and executive producing Disney Channel’s hit series The Proud Family, its Disney+ revival The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder and The Proud Family Movie. Smith also served as one of three directors of the Academy Award-winning short Hair Love.

The TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.
