Planeta Junior Taps Former Rainbow Exec Antonella Ceraso

BARCELONA: Kids’ producer and distributor Planeta Junior has appointed Antonella Ceraso, formerly country manager at Rainbow, as its new country manager for Spain and Portugal.

In her new role, Ceraso will be charged with developing Planeta Junior’s business and strategy in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. The children’s properties Trolls and Heidi will be part of her initial focus in the region this year. Ceraso will report to Diego Ibáñez Belaustegui, Planeta Junior’s international commercial director.

Ceraso has more than ten years of experience in the licensing and brands sectors. Prior to joining Planeta Junior, Ceraso served as country manager at Rainbow, where she was responsible for developing the business in Europe, the U.S. and Latin America. She has also worked at the Copyright Promotions Licensing Group, where she managed relationships with rights holders such as DreamWorks Animation, Fox, Universal and MGM, among others.
