Zheng He Fantasy Adventure in Development

Development has begun on Zheng He Fantasy Adventure, a new series inspired by the voyages of the 15th-century Chinese explorer Zheng He from mm2 Entertainment and Sparky Animation.

The 3D animated series, comprising eight episodes, will follow as Zheng He and his crew encounter mystical sea creatures, ancient secrets and formidable adversaries while fostering cultural exchange and peaceful diplomacy.

The series will feature amid of historical figures and fantasy characters. The animation will showcase a blend of Ming Dynasty aesthetics and magical elements such as glowing ancient maps, floating islands and starlit sea paths.

Production is set to begin this year, with an expected release in 2026. Zheng He Fantasy adventure will be available in multiple languages.
