Paramount+ has unveiled Baby Shark’s Big Movie! (w.t.), the first-ever feature-length original animated film based on the hit preschool property.

Co-produced by Nickelodeon Animation and The Pinkfong Company, the movie will follow Baby Shark and his family as they move to Chomp City, the big city of sharks. It is set to premiere during the 2023 holiday season.

Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Award winner Alan Foreman (The Casagrandes, Welcome to the Wayne) is on board as director. Eryk Casemiro, executive VP of global series content at Nickelodeon Animation, is overseeing production. Executive producers are Gary “Doodles” DiRaffaele (Breadwinners), Tommy Sica (Breadwinners) and Whitney Ralls (My Little Pony: Equestria Girls).

Baby Shark’s Big Show! launched in 2021 across Nickelodeon branded channels and platforms and was recently picked up for a second season. It ranks as the number one preschool series on all TV in the U.S. The brand itself launched in 2015 when Pinkfong Baby Shark debuted on YouTube.
