Nick Unveils 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards Nominees

Nickelodeon has revealed that Dwayne Johnson and Taylor Swift are among the nominees for the 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards, which will feature a performance by network star and social media sensation JoJo Siwa.

Siwa will perform a medley of hits, including “Boomerang.” In the favorite cartoon category, ALVINNN!!! and the ChipmunksSpongeBob SquarePantsTeen Titans Go!Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesThe Loud House and The Simpsons are all up for the award.

For favorite TV show, the nominees are Fuller House, Henry DangerK.C. UndercoverSaban’s Power Rangers Ninja SteelStranger ThingsThe Big Bang TheoryThe Flash and The Thundermans. In the favorite TV actress category, the following talents received a nod: Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Fuller House), Kaley Cuoco (Penny, The Big Bang Theory), Kira Kosarin (Phoebe Thunderman, The Thundermans), Lizzy Greene (Dawn Harper, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn), Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven, Stranger Things), Zendaya (K.C. Cooper, K.C. Undercover). The favorite TV actor category includes Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes, The Walking Dead), Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash, The Flash), Jace Norman (Henry Hart, Henry Danger), Jack Griffo (Max Thunderman, The Thundermans), Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper, The Big Bang Theory) and William Shewfelt (Brody Romero/Red Ninja Steel Ranger, Power Rangers Ninja Steel).

Celebrating kids’ favorites across movies, TV, music and digital, the nominees also include Beyoncé, Camila Cabello, Luis Fonsi, Shawn Mendes, Chris Pratt, DJ Khalid, Selena Gomez, Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, Chris Hemsworth and Ed Sheeran, among others.

Coco, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Wonder Woman also received nominations. WWE’s John Cena returns as host on Saturday, March 24, at 8 p.m., when the ceremony is broadcast live from the Forum in Inglewood, California.

Beginning today, Nickelodeon will roll out a brand-new, four-week voting wave. New categories will be revealed each week leading up to the show. Kids can cast their votes on Nickelodeon’s digital site using special Kids’ Choice Awards hashtags and the hashtag of their favorite nominee. In addition, kids will have the opportunity to influence the show in real time with all-new live votes.
