Tulipop Studios has signed new deals to bring all episodes of Tulipop Tales to TF1 in France, Rai in Italy and NRK in Norway, as well as a licensing deal in the Middle East.

Rai acquired all 52 episodes of the series from Tulipop’s Italian partner, The Animation Band, for its linear kids’ channel Rai Yoyo and its online platform RaiPlay. TF1 picked up all episodes for its streaming service TFou Max. Norway’s NRK committed to a further 26 episodes, bringing the total to 52.

These new partners join Síminn in Iceland, Yle in Finland, MBC in the Middle East, CANAL+ in Poland, Tele-Québec in Canada and Showmax South Africa in airing the series. RÚV in Iceland, NRK in Norway, SVT in Sweden, DR in Denmark and Svenska Yle in Finland have also commissioned three TV specials, Tulipop Seasons.

Also, Tulipop’s consumer products division completed a new strategic deal with MBC Licensing in the Middle East, where Tulipop Tales launched on MBC 3 in August.

Additionally, Tulipop Studios signed a global music publishing deal with Peer Music, with the first two albums of Tulipop Tunes now available on all major music platforms.

“It’s fantastic to have Rai and TF1 in our slate of broadcast partners, with NRK acquiring even more Tulipop content following a strong audience response to the show,” said Helga Árnadóttir, CEO and producer at Tulipop Studios. “Our goal has been to take a curated territory-by-territory approach to television sales and build an international licensing program for the brand, so it’s great to see MBC Licensing come on board to handle consumer products in their territory. We are looking forward to continuing to bring Tulipop’s modern day fairy tales filled with catchy music and diverse characters to even more kids across the globe.”
