New Global Plush Partnerships for Care Bears

Simba Dickie Group, Dan Dee International and Grupo Ruz have signed on to become licensing partners for the Care Bears brand in various territories around the world.

Simba Dickie Group will introduce a range of plush and other toys across Europe. Dan Dee International will produce seasonal Care Bears plush products in the U.S. and Canada, and Grupo Ruz will develop plush and toys for Mexico.

The initial product launch from Simba Dickie Group is set for later this year in selected markets, with a wider launch to follow in Q1 of 2025.

“Care Bears, an iconic beloved brand with fans in all age groups, is a fantastic addition for our plush product portfolio,” said Werner Lenzer, senior licensing manager at Simba Dickie Group.

Dan Dee International’s plush products are set to begin launching in early 2025.

“We are honored to continue our partnership with the Care Bears brand to bring their cherished characters and timeless messages of love and caring to our broad audience,” said Menal McGrath, senior VP of global licensing at Dan Dee International.

The Grupo Ruz products do not yet have a release date.

“We are thrilled to expand the Care Bears universe with Ruz’s unique and creative plush products,” commented Adriana Miranda Gutiérrez, director of licensing at Grupo Ruz. “Their designs will bring a fresh and exciting dimension to our range, delighting fans of all ages.”
