Netflix Orders More Izzy’s Koala World

Netflix has greenlit a second season of the children’s series Izzy’s Koala World, created by The Dodo.

In Izzy’s Koala World, Izzy Bee lives on Magnetic Island off the coast of Australia, where she’s known as the Koala Whisperer. When koalas on Magnetic Island need help, Izzy and her family, including her veterinarian mom, welcome them into their home and nurture them until they’re ready to go back to the wild. Season two will continue following the family as they build friendships with koalas while spotlighting the impact of the Australian wildfires and the power of the human and animal connection.

The first season of Izzy’s Koala World premiered in September. It is produced for Netflix by Group Nine Studios and The Dodo, in partnership with Nomadica Films.
