Mondo TV Iberoamerica Celebrates Heidi Bienvenida Series, Brand Growth

Mondo TV Iberoamerica’s Heidi Bienvenida brand and the live-action pre-teen comedy-drama that serves as its inspiration have continued to expand their reach.

In addition to launching across Latin America, Heidi Bienvenida has sold in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, with a number of regional and global licensing deals, including a launch on Disney Channel Spain in January. In addition to the forthcoming second season of the series, there is also a Heidi Bienvenida film that is on the way, which will be the first feature film in the history of Mondo TV.

The first 30 episodes of season one of Heidi Bienvenida (Heidi, Bienvenida a Casa), launched on Netflix this month per a deal that grants the platform SVOD rights for North America, Spain, Latin America (including Brazil), the U.K., Ireland and Italy. Episodes 31-60 will launch later this year.

A range of Heidi Bienvenida personal care items from Admiranda, illustrated with colorful images of characters from the show, have recently joined other licensed products at retail. The Edizioni Playpress magic album, activity books, special crossword-format magazines and the Sony Music Entertainment Italy Heidi Bienvenida CD are being sold across Italy.
