Miniteve Arrives in Asia on China’s iQIYI

Miniteve is launching its edutaining mini documentaries for preschoolers into the Asian market for the first time through an exclusive licensing deal with China’s iQIYI.

Under the agreement, Miniteve’s 300 episodes about animals, vehicles and playtime debuted this month in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. The content comprises informative, educational and entertaining programming that is meant to encourage young viewers’ curiosity and recognition.

Miniteve first premiered in Sweden in 2011. In 2017, it expanded its presence in Europe by partnering with Sky.

Henry Chu, the founder and CEO of Miniteve, remarked: “We are very happy and excited to be launching Miniteve in China together with iQIYI. We are really impressed by their dedicated focus on children’s entertainment, and we are glad that now even more young minds will be able to experience Miniteve’s original, quality-approved content.”
