Milkshake! Launches Feature Your Teacher Initiative

Milkshake! has launched the Feature Your Teacher initiative, inviting early-years educators to read a story on air for a special strand of Milkshake! Story Den.

Selected teachers from across the U.K. will be featured reading a story in the show later this year, as part of Milkshake!’s wider support for the U.K.’s National Year of Reading.

The initiative aims to shine a spotlight on those who bring stories to life every day and play a vital role in fostering a love of reading in young children, as well as developing children’s language and storytelling skills.

Early-years educators can apply via the Milkshake! website through May 1.
