HÖHENKIRCHEN/MUNICH: m4e and publisher Panini have renewed their contract for the kids’ series Mia and me for three more years until 2020.

The agreement will continue to include a monthly Mia and me magazine and additional special issues, as well as stickers and sticker albums, trading cards and tattoos for German-speaking territories. The monthly Mia and me magazine consistently ranks among the top four magazines for girls in Germany. Panini was among the first licensees to come on board in 2011, and the company already extended its contract in 2015.

Mia and me was created by Gerhard Hahn and is a production of Hahn & m4e Productions, a joint venture between m4e and Gerhard Hahn. The series is co‐produced by ZDF. Season two launched in spring 2015 and broadcasts in Germany and several other territories. Season three is currently in production, while season four and a feature film are in development.

“We are very proud of this long‐term and trusting cooperation with m4e, especially on such a wonderful property as Mia and me,” commented Hermann Paul, the managing director of Panini Verlags. “The magical fantasy world of Centopia is perfectly conveyed to the target group by our products. We were convinced of this property right from the start and are looking forward to many more successful years.”
