Little Engine Moving Pictures has signed distribution deals across North America, Europe and Australia for several titles.
I Love, a series featuring real kids sharing what they love to do from Imagine Create Media, has been licensed to HITN in the U.S., V-Me in Canada and Super RTL in Germany.
HITN also acquired season one of Cutie Pugs, as well as two seasons of Now You Know in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese for the U.S. and Latin America.
V-Me picked up the preschool series Tiny and Tall alongside I Love and also renewed Cutie Pugs in Spanish.
Canada’s TVOkids commissioned season two of the preschool series Tiny and Tall along with broadcaster Knowledge Network.
Daekyo Kids renewed Cutie Pugs in Korean for South Korea.
In Australia, ABC renewed the astronomy series Space Kids.
Maria Kennedy, Little Engine co-founder and head of sales and acquisitions, said, “We’re very selective. Our preschool and kids’ titles are curated with entertainment, humor and childhood development in mind. International buyers continue to renew Cutie Pugs, our positional language-learning series, because it’s remained in their top ten most-watched preschool shows since 2017.”
“Imagine Create Media is thrilled to have Little Engine as our distribution partner,” added Tara Hungerford, creator and showrunner at Imagine Create Media. “Our library is the perfect complement to the Little Engine catalog, and together, we are accomplishing big things in small steps—with science, math, literacy and social-emotional skills.”
