Lena’s Farm, a non-dialogue series from Meta Media Entertainment, has been licensed to broadcasters and streamers around Europe after debuting on ZDF in Germany in February.

The series, created by Elena Walf, follows different animals on a farm as they experience social challenges and learn how to live together. It has been picked up by Disney+ across Europe, as well as Yle in Finland, SVT in Sweden, DR in Denmark, NRK in Norway and more.

Lena’s Farm has also been acquired by NPO in the Netherlands, SRF in Switzerland, Česká televize in the Czech Republic, Fubon Cultural & Educational Foundation and Kidstream. Additionally, the episode “Full Nest” has been selected for the 2025 Annecy International Film Festival.

“Elena Walf’s stories are deeply personal and, at the same time, connect with a global audience in a very direct way,” said Thomas Meyer-Hermann, founder of Studio Film Bilder. “Her design and animation are sophisticated down to the smallest detail, so that every single frame could be a picture book page.”

Ingo Weis, line producer at ZDF, commented, “From the moment I came into contact with Lena’s Farm and its brilliant creator Elena Walf, I knew that the project was unique and simply wonderful.”

“I am overjoyed to be working again with Studio Film Bilder on their superb new series, Lena’s Farm—a powerful fusion of comedy and emotion, which I am sure will have wide appeal around the world,” added Sara Cooper, founder of Meta Media Entertainment. “The reaction so far has been spectacular, and I can’t wait to share the series with more buyers in the coming months.”
