Jetpack Distribution has expanded its footprint across Asia with deals for a number of titles in its catalog, including Kitty is Not a Cat and The Sisters.

India’s ETV Network has acquired the pay-TV rights for the second seasons of the animated comedy series Kitty is Not a Cat and The Sisters. The pay-TV and digital rights for the Chinese preschool animated series Emmy & Gooroo, meanwhile, were picked by Celestial Tiger Entertainment’s Miao Mi for various Asian countries.

Malaysia’s Astro bought the VOD rights for Emmy & Gooroo. In addition to taking the SVOD rights for Emmy & Gooroo, Indonesia’s Mola TV also picked up the comedy animation Wolf and the live-action series The Baby Club. Vietnamese agent B Company acquired all the rights for the live-action series Katy. Lastly, the Chinese entertainment and educational content provider Leadjoy picked up the VOD rights for the preschool animated series Boj.

Dominic Gardiner, Jetpack Distribution CEO, said: “Asia is a dynamic market with huge potential. We pride ourselves on having an offer that is truly global and high-quality shows with universal appeal. Ones that cross many borders and unite kids and families with humor and heart. These deals are a testament to that fact. We’re delighted to be working with these networks.”
