Gulli has boosted the programming on its channels in Africa and Russia in response to the coronavirus pandemic, which sees families spending more time at home.

On Gulli Africa, available in 25 French-speaking African countries and via Canal+ offers, there is a new program grid that includes such preschool shows as Kiva Can Do, Ubongo Kids and Dimitri, and the documentary Siyaya, The Great Adventure. Further, an animated music video has been created to introduce children to relevant safety tips and Trop Bien Chez Toi’s Moussier Tombola and his friends appear in sketches that depict how to get creative with daily life at home.

Tricolor, Beeline, Orion Express and Rostelcom in Russia are giving free access to Gulli Girl and TiJi Russia amid the pandemic, enabling access to more than 20 million families in Russia and Eastern Europe. Gulli Girl features such titles as Barbie Dreamhouse, Friends on a Mission, My Little Pony, Winx, Kally’s Mashup, The Worst Witch and Mako Mermaid. On TiJi Russia, viewers can find Molang, Pirata & Capitano, Les Drôles de Petites Bêtes, Ernest & Célestine, The Octonauts, Sam the Fireman, Can We Fix It and Masha and Michka.
