Cyber Group Studios has inked multiple deals with France’s Gulli, part of M6 Group, for three series, including the new original property The McFire Family.

Created by Pierre Sissmann, chairman and CEO of Cyber Group Studios, The McFire Family follows a family of superhero firefighters and rescuers whose powers come from the life-saving technology they developed.

Sissmann co-wrote the series with Ira Singerman (Press Start!), VP of development at Cyber Group Studios USA, and Jacqueline Moody (Gigantosaurus), head writer.

A deal was also signed for George Moby and Co., an original concept from Cyber Group Studio’s Ahmed Guerrouache (director of Taffy) with a series bible co-written by Marine Lachenaud, Guerrouache and Sissmann. The series follows the adventures of George, a timid vegetarian lion, and Moby, a vociferous and determined little mouse.

In addition, Gulli acquired the third season of Taffy, which was created by Sissmann and Mike de Seve. The next season will be filled with even more crazy adventures, characters and settings.

The McFire Family, George Moby and Co. and Taffy season three are slated to begin production this year.

“We are extremely excited about this partnership,” said Sissmann. “We have very much enjoyed working with the Gulli team on these series, which have both French and international appeal and are already generating strong interest worldwide.”
