FremantleMedia Kids & Family Bolsters London Team

LONDON: FremantleMedia Kids & Family is expanding its London-based team with a new hire and a promotion.

Kirstie Brockett is joining FremantleMedia Kids & Family as brand manager. In addition, Chapman Maddox as been elevated to the role of VP of development and production. Maddox has relocated to London from Los Angeles, where he was director of development.

In her new role as brand manager, Brockett will work across FremantleMedia Kids & Family’s preschool series such as Kate & Mim-Mim and Ella The Elephant, as well as the division’s classic archive, which includes titles like Rainbow and Count Duckula. She will report to FremantleMedia Kids & Family’s global brand director, Nicola Herrmann. Brockett previously served as assistant producer and brand manager for V&S Entertainment’s series Everything’s Rosie.

Tessa Moore, the senior VP of global brand management, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Kirstie into the FremantleMedia Kids & Family team. She has an extensive background in developing a global girls’ preschool brand, which will be hugely beneficial as she helps drive the continued growth of our key properties, particularly in this toy-launch year for Kate & Mim-Mim.”

From his new base in London, Maddox will continue to executive produce the current season of the animated comedy series Danger Mouse. He will also be charged with developing new properties and overseeing the production of existing series.
