Switzerland’s Foo Entertainment has commenced production on Miss Bellyfoo, a new kids’ series the company is highlighting this fall.

Following Supergirl and main character Miss Bellyfoo, the series will be ready for a 2021 premiere. The first episodes are available for review in the MIPCOM Screening Room and on the landing page of the Foo Entertainment website, as the company is looking for TV platforms and potential licensees in all major categories to accompany the release of Miss Bellyfoo.

Chris Djuritschek, director and creator of Foo Entertainment, said: “It’s all about talent… Our mission is to support our children, who already have amazing and big visions and dreams as well as talents, self-confidence, motor skills and creativity. Not just watching but becoming part of the story too. All of us, and especially children, have to learn to deal with the fusion of reality and virtuality. Miss Bellyfoo is a perfect ambassador for this great mission and to motivate talented kids.”

Oliver Helwig, director of sales at foo entertainment, said: “There is a highly committed and powerful team behind Foo Entertainment and the Miss Bellyfoo property, which is offering a wide range of exploitation and marketing opportunities. The perfect combination of educational, musical, funny and adventurous stories and skills makes this new promising TV series and property to one of the hottest new projects available in the market. We are currently focusing on securing the ideal and best TV coverage in all territories.”
