The Kaji family’s Sunlight Entertainment and pocket.watch have teamed to produce Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure for fall 2024.

The movie, the first for the kids’ IP, sees Ryan’s twin sisters get sucked into a mystical comic book. Ryan jumps in after them to bring them home safely before their parents notice.

The Kaji family—Ryan, Shion, Loann, Emma and Kate—play themselves in the film. The cast also includes more pocket.watch creators, including magician Dan Rhodes, Evangeline Lomelino of GEM Sisters and Stella Wallace of The Stella Show.

Ryan’s World the Movie: Titan Universe Adventure is being produced by Sunlight Entertainment’s Shion Kaji and Loann Kaji and pocket.watch’s Albie Hecht, who also serves as director. The screenplay is written by Rose Frankel, with the story by Shion and Frankel. The animation is being produced by Shin-Ei Animation.

“We’re excited to continue our successful partnership with pocket.watch and extend the beloved Ryan’s World franchise with our first feature film,” said Shion, Ryan’s father and CEO of Sunlight Entertainment. “This further opens the door for opportunities to connect with audiences in a whole new way on the big screen.”

“Ryan Kaji’s talent and the broad family appeal of Ryan’s World are a dynamic combination in this fast-paced anime action, superhero adventure,” said Hecht, chief content officer at pocket.watch. “Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with many super talented young stars, and Ryan’s authenticity, intelligence and ability to instantly connect with audiences offer unlimited possibilities and create a strong foundation for his ever-growing success.”
