Disney Branded TV to Produce Supervillain Comedy Series

Disney Branded Television has begun production on Meet the Mayhems, a live-action comedy series, set to premiere on Disney Channel and Disney+ in 2022.

Created by Chris Peterson and Bryan Moore (That ’70s Show, Lab Rats), Meet the Mayhems follows a family of supervillains who must change their identities and relocate to a small Texas town after teenage Havoc stands up against the villains’ leader.

The series stars Isabella Pappas (Finding Alice), Lucy Davis (Wonder Woman), James Patrick Stuart (General Hospital), Kayden Muller-Janssen, Malachi Barton (Stuck in the Middle), Reed Horstmann (The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia) and Patricia Belcher (The Week Of).

“Chris and Bryan, along with this terrific cast, are fast at work to deliver a fun and entertaining ‘fish-out-of-water’ tale about an extraordinary family living an ordinary life,” said Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television. “While they entertain, the stories also incorporate themes of self-confidence, personal responsibility, teamwork, justice and empathy.”
