Cloudco Unveils 40th Anniversary Care Bear

Cloudco Entertainment is celebrating 40 years of the Care Bears brand with the new Care-a-Lot Bear and a raft of consumer licensing deals.

The special edition 40th anniversary Care Bear joins the recently introduced Dream Bright Bear and I Care Bear. It is touted as the first-ever bear to exist in the magical kingdom of Care-a-Lot as well as the bear with the most magic and belly badge powers.

Care-a-Lot Bear, who lives in a cloud castle with her best friend, Cloud Buddy, knows that caring for others is the best way to spread kindness and love wherever you go. Together, she and Cloud Buddy fly around the kingdom going on adventures with the rest of the Care Bears.

Kristeen Tibbits, head of marketing at Cloudco Entertainment, said: “Introducing Care-a-Lot Bear to the world is the perfect way to commemorate 40 years of making the world a more caring place. Her belly badge depicts the iconic cloud castle being illuminated with a beautiful rainbow, representing her passion to care for her neighbors and her community!”

Licensees across the globe have signed on to create Care-a-Lot Bear-themed collections, with Amazon, Walmart, Target, FYE, Hot Topic, 5 Below and Shein leading retailers in the U.S. In Canada, Walmart Canada and Toys “R” Us Canada are launching retail programs.
