TORONTO: Corus Entertainment's preschool channel Treehouse is set to launch an exclusive premiere of Clangers and Hey Duggee on the TreehouseGO app on December 25.

The exclusive sneak peek of Clangers and Hey Duggee will be available on the app this holiday season ahead of their scheduled premieres on Treehouse in January. Clangers, which debuted on CBeebies in the U.K. and on Sprout in the U.S. this past summer, is a reboot of the 1969 BBC children's series. The stop-motion show is narrated by William Shatner and features mouse-shaped creatures that live on a little blue planet not far from Earth. It will debut on the Treehouse TV channel on January 8 at 7:20 p.m. and will air regularly thereafter on Fridays at 7:20 p.m. The animated series Hey Duggee, about a dog that runs an activity club for preschoolers where they have adventures and learn new things, is set to roll out on Treehouse on January 9 at 12:20 p.m.

"We're excited to add these two new global hits to our TreehouseGO app over the holiday season," said Colin Bohm, the executive VP and head of Corus Kids. "TreehouseGO has proven hugely popular with both preschoolers and parents and the exclusive debut of Clangers and Hey Duggee on the app is our special holiday gift to our Treehouse fans."
