The animated series Ava Undercover from Big Bad Boo Studios has won the MIPJunior Project Pitch in the kids category.

The series centers on 6-and-a-half-year-old Iranian-American Ava, a self-appointed Master Stuff Finder, going undercover to crack cases with a unique, low-to-the-ground kid perspective. She works out of her bedroom with her puppy Miss Marple, best pal Julien and an ad-hoc team of neighborhood kids.

Big Bad Boo Studios also had up for the pitch Bad Bunny, competing alongside Chefclub Adventures from Somewhere Animation, Still Life at the Penguin Café from 3 minutes West and Camem & Bert’s Food Truck from MESE.

Sallyann Keizer, CEO of Sixth Sense Media, moderated, with a jury comprised of Brenda Bisner, CCO of Kidoodle.TV; Christopher Keenan, senior VP and executive producer at Mattel; Julien Borde, managing director of Mediawan Kids&Family; and Melissa Lim, lead for acquisitions and co-productions for kids at Warner Bros. Discovery AsiaPac.
