Beyond Kids has inked a number of deals for its properties, which include Dumbotz and The Beatles-inspired Beat Bugs.

Ahead of MIPTV, the kids’ animated show Dumbotz (52×11 min.) has pre-sold to Studio 100 Media, which will air the series on its BeJunior channel across the Middle East and North Africa in 2020. Aimed at kids 7 to 11 and produced by Blue Rocket Productions and Beyond Entertainment in Australia, Dumbotz follows three hopeless robots on their quest to save the world.

Meanwhile, Beat Bugs has been acquired by ORF in Austria. The series, aimed at 4- to 7-year-olds, tells the story of five best friends who explore in their garden, which to them is their entire universe. The series features The Beatles covers sung by contemporary artists, including P!nk, Eddie Vedder and Sia.

Wow, That’s Amazing (26×30 min.) is a science-based live-action series that has been acquired by RTL Croatia and Noga Communications in Israel. It is a co-production between Beyond Productions and Super RTL Germany.

BYU Broadcasting has secured all three seasons of CBBC’s Ice Stars and the first season of Gym Stars. Both shows feature young sports stars as they battle to be the best in their field.

Munia Kanna Konsek, Beyond Kids’ head of sales, commented: “We are so pleased to secure these deals so soon after we launched Beyond Kids at MIPCOM. The response from producers and broadcasters alike has been great, and we are looking forward to bringing new kids’ content to market throughout 2019.”
