BBC Studios Teams with DK for LEGO DUPLO Bluey Books

BBC Studios, Ludo Studio and the LEGO Group have partnered with DK for several LEGO DUPLO Bluey books, the first of which will release in September.

LEGO DUPLO Bluey: Flat Pack, the first book, retells a fan-favorite episode and comes with a LEGO DUPLO Bluey figure. The companies plan to release a further picture book and novelty format book in 2027.

Bluey is beloved by kids everywhere, and we know families will be thrilled to read, then re-read, then re-read again the fun story of Flat Pack,” said Mark Searle, managing director of DK+. “It comes with a fantastic LEGO DUPLO Bluey as well, making it a unique book that kids will treasure. The LEGO Group is a fantastic partner to work with, and we’re delighted to keep expanding our publishing range with this and many other exciting books.”

“I am thrilled that we’re expanding our Bluey book publishing portfolio and elevating the beloved show’s presence in the LEGO DUPLO universe through this exciting new partnership with LEGO Publishing and DK,” commented Jan Paterson, director of books and audio at BBC Studios. “Flat Pack combines relatable storytelling, hands-on play and the unmistakable warmth of Bluey—creating a reading experience that families can enjoy together.”

Bartek Jelonek, head of global publishing for LEGO, added, “We look forward to bringing the excitement of the LEGO DUPLO Bluey from the LEGO brick sets onto the book pages in this fantastic collaboration with BBC Studios, Ludo Studio and DK. Fans of all ages are in for a thrill.”
