BabyFirst has expanded its footprint in LatAm per an extended deal with Sky Mexico.

Starting this month, BabyFirst’s linear channel will be made available as part of Sky Mexico’s Gold HD package. Aimed at babies and toddlers, the kids’ channel’s library includes over 90 original shows and characters. BabyFirst is also carried on Totalplay Mexico and in Central America and the Caribbean.

Spanish-dubbed and subtitled series such as Harry El Conejito, Vocabularry-o and Pandilla de Colores will be featured in both Sky Mexico’s Gold HD and Fun packages. BabyFirst is currently available in 13 languages and 33 countries.

“Latin America is a key territory for us, and we’re just getting started,” said C. Schwarz, managing director of First Media Americas, BabyFirst’s parent company. “Our characters and shows are already loved by millions globally and it’s our mission to provide families with content that is fun and educational for their babies. This year, you’ll see us being quite aggressive to honor that mission by bringing BabyFirst programming to new cable distributors worldwide.”
