APC Kids Secures Sales from Live-Action Slate

APC Kids has landed deals on a pair of titles from its live-action catalog, including the comedy series High Hoops.

The 10×30-minute High Hoops has been picked up by ABC Australia. Directed by Ian Curtis, with Rebecca Papworth as executive producer, the show will air on CBBC in early 2025.

The teen sci-fi drama Hawa & Adam has been sold to NRK Norway. The 13×24-minute series is produced by Jonnydepony for Belgian broadcaster VRT’s kids’ channel Ketnet and Germany’s WDR. Originally produced in Flemish, it is also available in German. APC Kids holds global TV rights outside Belgium and Germany.

Lionel Marty, managing director of APC Kids, said: “High school comedy continues to have broad appeal internationally, and High Hoops hits the mark with its storylines, characters and humor. We are delighted that children in Australia will be able to tune into this great series from Can Can Productions that encourages girls in sport. Likewise, sci-fi is a perennial favorite with a young audience, and it’s exciting to see Hawa & Adam travel to new territories.”
