Animotion Sets Theatrical Release for Finnick Sequel

Animotion Media Group has partnered with distribution company Luminescence to theatrically release Finnick 2 internationally in October 2025.

In the film, a sequel to the 2022 movie Finnick, the titular character accidentally awakens the magic of an ancient walking stick and loses the ability to be invisible, putting all the finns in danger. He and his human friend Christine must find a way to help him regain his invisibility and save all the finns.

The sequel explores themes of family, friendship and self-discovery, with the bond between Finnick and Christine at the heart of the story.

Luminescence will play a key role in overseeing the film’s global theatrical rollout and tailoring its release to resonate with diverse markets.
