The app will be released in 17 countries, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay, Spain, the U.K., Italy, Portugal, Poland, Russia, Turkey, Australia and the Republic of South Africa.

Docomo Digital is introducing the licensed ads-free app with a new interactive design. The app’s mini-games include a memo game, a coloring book and paint activity, a piano game and a “Masha Photo Booth” for selfies.

Hiroyuki Sato, CEO at Docomo Digital, said: “Our partnership with Animaccord to bring the increasingly popular Masha and the Bear series to this unique app experience marks an important milestone for our portfolio of content partnerships. Parents around the world are becoming increasingly discerning about safety around digital content being consumed by their children, and rightly so. Our teams were focused on creating a safe environment that is no less engaging and interactive for the young audience.”

Olga Khabibullina, senior media manager at Animaccord, added: “We are very excited to present a new Masha and the Bear app developed by the Docomo Digital team. The app has been designed by the highest standards of kids’ safety in digital, as well as with a creative, innovative and interactive approach that will create a unique experience for kids and parents watching and playing Masha‘s content within the app.”
