LONDON: Amazon has placed an order for three new original kids' series, Dino Dana, The Kicks and Lost in Oz, as well as the half-hour special Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer's Llamas.

The new shows come from Aardman Animations, Bureau of Magic's Mark Warshaw, Abram Makowka, Darin Mark and Jared Mark (East Los High, Smallville), novelist James Frey (I Am Number Four) and J.J. Johnson (Dino Dan, Annedroids). All three titles will become available for Prime members in the U.K., U.S., Germany and Austria next year. Shaun the Sheep: The Farmer's Llamas will make its world premiere for Prime members in the U.K. on November 13.

The preschool show Dino Dana, a follow-up to the Emmy-winning hit Dino Dan, will feature 16 new prehistoric creatures. The Kicks is a book-based, live-action series for children aged 6 to 11 that centers on soccer. Lost in Oz is an animated adventure comedy that is a contemporary reimagining of The Wizard of Oz. In the Shaun the Sheep special, the farmer and Bitzer go to a country fair with Shaun, who is intent on causing mischief but winds up having to save the farm from out-of-control llamas.

"We're excited to offer our Prime members a beautifully reimagined world in our first original kids 6-to-11 animated series and bring to the screen Alex Morgan's successful book series with positive role models at the core," said Tara Sorensen, the head of kids' programming at Amazon Studios. "Aardman and Sinking Ship are first-rate producers and we're excited to debut Dino Dana, Shaun the Sheep and [more] on Prime Video."
