Alice-Miranda—A Royal Christmas Ball is the latest story of 10-year-old Alice-Miranda Highton-Smith-Kennington-Jones and her adventures at the Winchesterfield-Downsfordvale Academy and beyond. It features themes of friendship, bravery, kindness and nobility.

Directed by Jo Boag of SLR Productions, the telemovie was written by SLR Productions’ team of Melanie Alexander and Alexa Moses. It was produced by SLR Productions’ Yasmin Jones, and Suzanne Ryan, CEO of SLR Productions, was the executive producer.

Alice-Miranda—A Royal Christmas Ball is an SLR Productions picture for Stan and the 9Network. It has principal production funding from Screen Australia.

Ryan said: “Alice-Miranda, along with her friends Millie and Jacinta, are ready for an exciting royal mystery filled with tiaras, bravery, ponies, a jewel thief, a horse thief and a royal forgery. I am really excited for kids in Australia and around the world to see this new telemovie based on the much-adored books by the talented and best-selling author Jacqueline Harvey.”
