Discovery Family Preps New Season of Rescue Bots

NEW YORK: Discovery Family Channel has scheduled the season four premiere of the popular animated series Transformers Rescue Bots for later this month.

Transformers Rescue Bots will return with back-to-back episodes on Saturday, April 23, at 8 a.m. It will introduce new characters, including Quickshadow, the first-ever female Rescue Bot, who is voiced by Alex Kingston, and Chickadee, voiced by Kristen Schaal. The Emmy-nominated show will mark its 100th episode in the fourth season.

Transformers Rescue Bots follows the adventures of young Transformers and their human counterparts. The series is produced for Discovery Family Channel by Hasbro Studios, with Stephen Davis serving as exec producer. It was developed for TV by Jeff Kline, Nicole Dubuc and Brian Hohlfeld.
