Ánima Kitchent to Co-Produce Baby Zu S2

Ánima Kitchent has entered a co-production agreement with Mocca Studio for a second season of the preschool series Baby Zu.

The partners will produce 52 new three-minute episodes of Baby Zu, which is designed to deliver entertainment that supports early childhood education. Set in a colorful world, the series sees its animal characters combine music, storytelling and interactive learning to educate viewers.

As part of Baby Zu’s growing momentum, season one is currently airing in Indonesia under an exclusive two-year broadcast agreement with Mentari TV.

In parallel with its broadcast success, the series continues to perform strongly on YouTube, where its channel features 85 original videos excluding compilations and short-form content and maintains a release schedule of up to eight new episodes per month. The series sees an 84 percent returning viewer rate, an average of nearly 6,000 new subscribers per day.

“This marks our second co-production, reflecting the growing strength of our creative partnership and our shared commitment to high-quality content with strong international potential,” said Miguel Aldasoro, international sales and co-production director at Ánima Kitchent. “We are thrilled to collaborate with Mocca once again on this new 52-episode co-production for Baby Zu, which has demonstrated impressive results as a digital-first property.”

Adithya Yustanto, producer of Baby Zu at Mocca Studio, added, “Deepening our partnership with Ánima Kitchent in this second co-production is a significant milestone that validates the global potential we see in this property. We are excited to combine our strengths again to ensure that Baby Zu continues to grow as safe, relevant and meaningful content for children in various countries. Ultimately, we want kids everywhere to experience the same joy—singing, learning and growing alongside the Baby Zu characters.”
