Jeremy and Jazzy Specials Head to U.S. Public Broadcasters

Vérité International Distribution and its distribution partner Executive Program Services have signed deals with 34 public TV stations across the U.S. for two Jeremy and Jazzy holiday specials.

“When we discovered Jeremy and Jazzy, we saw a perfect fit for U.S. public television,” said Jerry Adams Jr, CEO of Executive Program Services. “The joyful characters and the brand’s ability to introduce reading and language learning to kids and families through the magic of music is why stations across the U.S. are so excited about it.”

It’s Halloween! with Jeremy and Jazzy, which will air on 27 stations across the U.S., sees Jeremy, Jazzy and Stu celebrate Halloween at their musical clubhouse before going trick-or-treating.

It’s the Holidays! with Jeremy and Jazzy, which will air on 31 stations, sees Jeremy, Jazzy, Stu and friends share in the spirit of holidays like the winter solstice, Hanukkah and Christmas, before exploring how kids from different cultures celebrate New Year’s.

“We are thrilled Jeremy and Jazzy will be airing in markets across the United States on various public television stations,” said Virginia Thompson, president of Vérité Films and Vérité International Distribution. “Our specials showcase the very best of the brand’s characters, comedy, stories and music.”

The original Jeremy and Jazzy animated series includes three seasons. There are also the spin-offs Playing with Stu, The Jeremy and Jazzy Show and Jeremy and Jazzy Story-Songs, as well as 16 more specials.
