Madgic Distribution Secures First Sales for Emerald

Madgic Distribution has closed the first international sales for Emerald with Knowledge in Canada, Mediacorp in Singapore and Noga in Israel.

“Harriet Muncaster’s book series Emerald is much loved by children around the world. and we are excited that we have already sold the show to key broadcasters in Canada, Singapore and Israel,” said Lionel Marty, managing director of Madgic Distribution. “These deals have set the ball rolling on international sales, and we look forward to bringing more partners on board during MIPCOM.”

Produced by Kelebek Media, Emerald is a companion series to Isadora Moon, which is also based on books from Muncaster. In Emerald, a young girl’s life changes when she goes from being a regular mermaid living her with her dad and his girlfriend to becoming a princess when her mom marries the sea king. She navigates this new role and world with the help of Theodore the Sea Unicorn and Shelly the Sea Turtle.

Madgic Distribution holds the worldwide distribution rights for the series outside of the U.K., U.S. and Italy.
