The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland, an animated musical from Universal Pictures Content Group and Lupus Films, is slated to premiere in the U.S. on Prime Video and Hulu on November 15.

Based on the best-selling book written by Carys Bexington, the musical mashes up two classic stories: Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Clement Clark Moore’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. When St. Nick receives a delayed letter on Christmas Eve from the Princess of Hearts, he and his reindeer set off to Wonderland, where they’re greeted by the Queen of Hearts, who hates Christmas.

The cast features Gerard Butler (Has Fallen trilogy, How to Train Your Dragon), Emilia Clarke (Last Christmas, Game of Thrones) and Simone Ashley (Bridgerton, Sex Education).

Peter Baynton (The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse) makes his feature film debut as director. Sara Daddy adapted the book into a screenplay, written entirely in rhyming couplets. The film features original music and songs written by long-time Robbie Williams collaborator Guy Chambers and Amy Wadge.

After premiering in the U.S. on Prime Video and Hulu, Sky Original Film will debut the film on Sky Cinema on December 13.
