Thomas & Friends Holiday Special Coming to Netflix

Netflix has slated the debut of Mattel Television Studios’ new holiday special Thomas & Friends: The Christmas Letter Express for November 21 in the U.S. and other territories.

The special, which will feature three original holiday songs, will follow as Thomas’s best friend Percy discovers a lost letter to Santa on Christmas Eve, and together, Percy, Thomas and friends embark on an adventure to make the child’s wish come true. After debuting on Netflix in the U.S., it will launch on Channel 5’s Milkshake! and Nick Jr. in the U.K. and Cartoonito in Italy.

Thomas & Friends: The Christmas Letter Express is produced by Mattel Television Studios and Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana. It is written by Rick Suvalle and executive produced by Christopher Keenan and Fred Soulie for Mattel and Colin Bohm, Doug Murphy and Pam Westman for Nelvana. Erica Procunier is the score composer.

On November 21, the special will launch in the U.S., Canada, Greece, Spain, Benelux, South Africa, Thailand, Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Korea and Taiwan. It will bow in 2025 in the U.K., Latin America, Italy, France, Poland and Turkey.
