Disney Branded TV & Eva Longoria Partner for Book Adaptation

Disney Branded Television and UnbeliEVAble Entertainment CEO Eva Longoria and President Ben Spector are developing an adaptation of Sal & Gabi Break the Universe.

Based on Carlos Hernandez’s book of the same name, the comedy sci-fi series follows Sal Vidón, who discovers he has the ability to reach into time and space to interact with other universes.

Ayo Davis, executive VP of creative development and strategy for Disney Branded Television, leads the series development. “It’s exciting to work with Eva and Ben on such an imaginative story full of heart and adventure that truly feels authentic in its storytelling and representation of characters. Carlos Hernandez’s heartwarming and humorous book is the perfect addition to our slate of development and is in expert hands with Eva and Ben’s production team.”
