Zodiak Kids Signs New Horrid Henry Deals

Zodiak Kids has closed a number of international broadcast and streaming deals across all five seasons of Novel Entertainment’s Horrid Henry.

Netflix picked up season one for Andorra, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Mauritius, as well as seasons three and four for the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, Russia, Iceland, Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu and Samoa. Netflix licensed the fourth and fifth seasons for India.

Emirates Cable TV went for seasons four and five for the United Arab Emirates, in addition to seasons three and five for the Middle East (excluding Iran and Israel), Pakistan, Northern Africa (excluding Eritrea and Ethiopia) and Mauritania. Sony India licensed rights for seasons one through five for its pay-TV channel. Discovery Networks Asia Pacific scored SVOD rights to seasons three to five for India and the Indian subcontinent. Okko picked up SVOD and TVOD rights to seasons three and four for CIS and Mongolia.

In Europe, the fifth season was acquired by Teilifis Na Gaeilge for the U.K. and Ireland. Leisradio Oy landed free-TV, pay-TV and AVOD rights for the second season in Finland. P&P Permissions and Rights scooped up free-TV, VOD and catch-up rights for season one for Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Croatia.

ViacomCBS International Media Networks Africa licensed free-TV, pay-TV, AVOD and SVOD rights to seasons one to three. The DVD, SVOD and TVOD rights for the fourth season went to Horby Asiana Licensing for South Korea.
