Disney Channel Renews Just Roll With It, Pacts with Creators

Disney Channel has ordered a second season of Just Roll With It and entered into an overall development deal with the comedy series’ creators and executive producers, Adam Small and Trevor Moore.

Just Roll With It follows the newly blended Bennett-Blatt family as they navigate family life and adolescence. Combining a scripted family sitcom with improvisational elements, the series enables the studio audience to vote on the outcome of certain scenes. It stars Tobie Windham and Suzi Barrett as fun-loving newlyweds and parents to preteens Owen (Ramon Reed) and Blair (Kaylin Hayman).

Per the overall deal, Small and Moore will continue to write and produce programming for Disney Channel and Disney+. Production on season two of Just Roll With It will commence in September. This fall, Disney Channel will present a special one-hour live telecast of the series, Just Roll With It: You Decide LIVE!, directed by Emmy-nominated director Sandra Restrepo. It will air on Friday, October 4, at 9 p.m.
