Studio 100 Sends Heidi to Poland

CANNES: Studio 100 Media has extended its partnership with Polish pubcaster TVP, which picked up the rights to the CGI-animated show Heidi for its children’s channel TVP ABC.

Heidi is a reimagined version of the classic story from the book penned by Swiss author Johanna Spyri. The program is currently broadcasting in 140 countries around the world. It will debut on TVP ABC in March/April 2017.

Martin Krieger, the head of global distribution at Studio 100 Media, noted: “We are delighted to extend our long-term and very fruitful partnership with TVP. The channel is already home to our iconic brand Maya the Bee and we are convinced that Heidi will follow successfully in Maya’s footsteps and that children in Poland will love the revived story.”
