Nick Gears Up for Special Episode of Make It Pop

SANTA MONICA: DHX Media’s musical live-action series Make It Pop is returning to Nickelodeon with an hour-long television event later this month.

The special episode, which debuts on August 20 at 8 p.m., will look on as Sun Hi, Corki, Jodi and DJ Caleb spend their summer at Sparkview Resort as the hotel’s exclusive house band. It will feature three all-new original songs performed by XO-IQ. There will also be cameos from Nancy O’Dell (Entertainment Tonight); professional dancer and choreographer Chachi Gonzales; professional dancer and social media star JoJo Siwa; radio and TV personality Zach Sang; and DJ Maxwell (Nick Radio).

Make It Pop is co-created by Thomas W. Lynch and Nick Cannon, who also serve as executive producers alongside DHX Media’s Steven DeNure and Anne Loi. Full episodes, music videos, instructional dance videos, musical games and activities can be found on the Nickelodeon website. The Make It Pop: Summer Splash album will become available for download on August 19.
