9 Story Picks Up Trio of New Titles

9 Story Distribution International has acquired three new children’s series for its catalog, including the live-action, music-driven Andy and the Band.

From Three Arrows Media and Ninja Pig Productions, Andy and the Band is a 15×14-minute comedy for kids 4 to 8 that follows an aspirational, eclectic and super talented band known as The Odd Socks. 9 Story has picked up worldwide rights for the series, excluding the U.K., where the show is currently airing on CBBC and CBeebies.

9 Story acquired worldwide distribution and merchandising rights for the CGI animated fantasy series Weird Waters. Targeting kids 4 to 7, the show is produced by Wayletta Productions, Meticulous Media and Moondog Animation Studio, and represented by Courageous Artists. It follows three Best Fish Friends Forever (BFFFs).

Using a hybrid of live-action animals and CGI animation, Bad Nature delves into all the disgusting and yet amazing things animals do. The series, targeted to kids 6 to 11, is produced by Rebel Television for Sky Kids. 9 Story acquired worldwide distribution rights, excluding the U.K.
