LONDON: Warwick Davis has signed on to host Tower of Ten, a new quiz show format for ITV Daytime.

The British actor and comedian will present the show, which is inspired by top ten lists. In Tower of Ten, a team of five people tries to make it to the final while winning as much money as possible. To advance, the players must provide the correct response to a top ten question such as the most populated European capital cities to the most common phobias. The team captain tries to get as many of his or her teammates into the final round as possible to increase the chances of winning a jackpot of up to £100,000 ($129,000).

Tower of Ten was commissioned by ITV’s director of Daytime, Helen Warner, and Clare Ely and Jane Beacon, ITV Daytime commissioning editors. It is produced by Initial, part of Endemol Shine Group. Executive producers are Richard Greenwood and Jamie Ormerod. The series producer is Sarah Timbury.

Mirella Breda, the managing director at Initial, said, “Tower of Ten takes our obsession with top ten lists and turns it into a new highly addictive play-along quiz for the whole family to enjoy. With unique questions, exciting reveals and the legendary Warwick Davis at the helm, it’s going to be a lot of fun. We are thrilled to be making it for ITV.”
