The Bachelorette Australia Set for Season Two on Network Ten

SYDNEY: Network Ten has commissioned a sophomore season of The Bachelorette Australia.

The show will return to screens in 2016 with a new bachelorette who will choose a potential husband from a group of suitors. The first season of the show wrapped last night. The Final Decision drew 1.92 million viewers. Meanwhile, the finale attracted 1.55 million viewers across Australia.

Network Ten Chief Programming Officer Beverley McGarvey said: “We are very pleased that so many Australians embraced The Bachelorette Australia and wanted to be part of Sam’s journey to find true love. The response from viewers to both the show and Sam’s story has been extraordinary. Like all Australians, we are delighted that Sam found Sasha and we wish them every happiness.”

She added, “We are also thrilled to announce that The Bachelorette Australia will be back in 2016. We cannot wait to start production on the second series and give Australia another wonderful love story.”
