Talpa Studios’ quiz show The Floor has reached 30 markets with its latest deals, which will see adaptations in the MENA region on MBC and in Japan on Nippon TV.

The U.K. is getting its own version of The Floor, with ITV commissioning a local adaptation from South Shore Productions.

K7 Media's Tracking the Giants survey was unveiled at MIPFormats this weekend, with Michelle Lin, head of data and analysis at the research firm, highlighting the strengths of the sector, the emerging trend of adventure reality and last year’s most successful rollouts, with All3Media International’s The Traitors taking the crown of “Format of the Year” for its 11 new adaptations in 2023.

An adaptation of Talpa’s quiz show The Floor has been commissioned by Rai 2 in Italy, with Blu Yazmine producing.

The quiz show The Floor has been ordered for daily and prime-time versions by France Télévisions.
