Something Special Names Senior Manager of Global Sales

Something Special has tapped Courtney Boyett, formerly at Korea’s Kiwi Vine, as its new senior manager of global sales.

“Something Special is fortunate to have hired Courtney Boyett, who will no doubt deliver great results for Something Special while representing us with her sparkling personality and expertise on the packaging,” said Jin Woo Hwang, founder, president and executive producer at Something Special. “After my recent trip to MENA, we have major expansion plans on the sales arm and will be attending future markets.”

“When I first met Courtney at this year’s Hong Kong FilMart, I was immediately impressed by her professionalism and bright character,” commented InSoon Kim, founder, executive VP and head of content and executive producer. “We are pleased she can join Something Special and help take us to the next level.”

Boyett joins from Korea’s Kiwi Vine, where she worked in business development, focusing on webtoon localization. She began her career as a translator and researcher and is fluent in both English and Korean.
